The photo by Pham Tuyet, which won the first prize of the contest, was also on display at an exhibition on Vietnam`s heritages.
On December 4, the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2014 was held at Hanoi Museum.

The exhibition showcased as many as 100 outstanding photos which selected from the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2014 including Snow in SaPa, (by Pham Tuyet), Ban Gioc Waterfall in Autumn (by Trinh Thu Nguyet), etc.
The organizing board hopes the photos on natural landscapes, human portraits and people’s daily lives, festivals, traditional craft villages, ancient architectures, etc, will enrich people and students’ spirits, help them learn more about a historical significance of the Vietnam Heritage Day (23/11/1945) as well as introduce Vietnam’s heritages to international visitors.
Hanoi Museum in collaboration with Vietnam Heritage Magazine organized the exhibition in Hanoi Museum from December 4 to January 1.
After being exhibited at Hanoi Museum, 100 photos of heritages will be introduced in Da Nang, Tien Giang, etc.
The exhibition was held under the framework of the third Heritage Photo Contest - Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards launched by Vietnam Heritage magazine in July 2014.
The Vietnam Heritage Photo Contest launched in July 2014, is a part of activities to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (11/23/2014) by Vietnam Heritage Magazine in coordination with the main sponsor Canon.
The competition called for the attention of the community in the discovery of beauty, natural heritage values, Vietnam’s culture; in looking for excellent photos on the subject of natural heritage, tangible and intangible cultural heritages.
Th contest also create an opportunity for both professional and amateur photographers to show their love of homeland.
Just after over two months, the competition had received 4402 photos including 2795 single photos and 254 photos of natural heritages, tangible cultural heritages (architecture, sculpture, crafts, etc), intangible cultural heritages (music, singing, dancing, festivals, folk games, religion, etc), and people’s daily life.
The competition drew the participations of 477 photographers.
The youngest photographer of the competition is 10 years old, and the oldest photographer of the competition is 83 years old.
Cities and provinces which have a lot of photographers are Ho Chi Minh City (98 photographers), Hanoi (69 photographers) Thua Thien-Hue (31 photographers), Da Nang (30 photographers), Binh Thuan (28 photographers).
