State President extended his seasonal greetings for Lunar New Year 2015
The Hanoitimes proudly presents the full text of Lunar New Year greetings 2015 of President Truong Tan Sang.
Dear fellow countrymen,
On the occasion of the new lunar year, I would like to convey my best wishes to all the people and soldiers and overseas Vietnamese. I wish you all happiness and success.
In 2014, Vietnamese people were united to overcome all challenges and difficulties to maintain a peaceful environment and political and social stability, boost economic and cultural development, external relations, and international integration.
In 2015, we need to strive harder to achieve the targets of the 5-year development plan, safeguard national independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, continue to consolidate the Party, state, and political system, and fight corruption, waste, red-tape, and moral degradation among state officials and Party members. This will contribute significantly to the success of Party congresses at all levels toward the 12th National Party Congress.
With patriotism and national pride we will continue to implement the 2013 Constitution, exercise democracy, increase discipline, publicity, and transparency, and accelerate national renewal in order to make Vietnam an industrialized nation in the future and ensure a happy, free, and prosperous life for everyone, our nation moves forward with the times.
I wish a new year of unity, reform and all the best to Vietnamese people at home and abroad.
Best regards,
