Strengthening relationship and cooperation to higher level

On the morning of January 3, 2014, a memorandum of understanding between the Economic & Urban Newspaper and the Vientiane Mai Newspaper (People`s Democratic Republic of Laos) signed in Hanoi.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Ta Viet Anh - the Editor of Economic & Urban Newspaper and Mr. Thongleuan Phimmasane - the Editor of Vientiane Mai Newspaper expressed pleasure for effective cooperation between the two agencies and confirmed for strenthening the relation in the spirit of comrades, colleagues to smoothly propagate. The two sides also exchanged views on professional journalism experience, especially the method of exchange, mutual support to improve the efficiency of propagation.

Accordingly, the two newspapers frequently exchange, help each other in professional activities. Enhancing information exchange to propagate on the two newspaper's publications, particularly important events of the two Capitals and the two countries. Both sides create favorable conditions for staff and reporters of the two newspapers to propagate important events taking place in the Capitals of the two countries. In 2014, the two newspapers will coordinate for propagating 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and Hanoi Liberation Day.

Mr. Thongleuan Phimmasane said that they are so happy and thankful for Economic & Urban Newspaper's warm welcome. He also confirmed to strengthen relationship and cooperation between the two newspapers to higher level.

Earlier, during the visit to Hanoi, Vientiane Mai Newspaper's delegation attended the 15th anniversary of the first issue (January 1, 1999 - January 1, 2014) and receiving the Third Class Labor Medal of Economic & Urban Newspaper solemnly celebrated on January 1, 2014.
