Vietnam is willing to share experience in socio-economic development process with Laos, said the PM.

Deputy PM Sonexay Siphandone asserted that his visit is aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two nations in all fields, including agricultural and rural development and production.

He announced the outcomes of the talks with the Vietnamese counterpart Truong Hoa Binh on the implementation of agreements of the two Political Bureaus and the realization of what have been agreed at the 39th meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee.

The two sides consented to prepare for the future visits of their high-ranking leaders and to launch the two nations’ key projects.

The Lao Deputy PM expected that the Vietnamese Government will facilitate their functional agencies to soon realize cooperative agreements, including agreements to help Laos use some harbors in Vung Ang Port in the central province of Ha Tinh.

He hoped that the Vietnamese Government will accelerate the implementation of large projects of Vietnamese businesses in Laos and support its enterprises to build infrastructure and power projects in Laos.

PM Phuc proposed the two sides actively realize agreements reached by their high-ranking leaders and the minutes of the 39th meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee as well as enhance cooperation in fields of security, defense, economics, trade, investment, education and culture.

He asked the two sides to closely cooperate to construct the headquarters of Lao National Assembly, which will be built in the upcoming days.
