To commemorate the heroic Vietnamese mothers whose children and husbands sacrificed their lives for the country, painter Dang Ai Viet rode a motorbike across the country in search of living heroic mothers and painted portraits of nearly 3,000 of them.

In Bangladesh, the play will be performed in memory of the ten young women who lost their lives in the battle at Dong Loc Junction.
To give the actresses and audience of the play Legend of Youth a real-life experience, the production crew brought five tons of earth from Dong Loc Junction to the stage of the Vietnamese Women's Museum.
The program is dedicated to the 10 young women volunteers who gave their lives for the victory of Dong Loc during the anti-American war.
Just a few minutes to the south of Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem lake, the Vietnamese Women’s Museum attests to the vital role of women in local history and culture as well as fashion from ethnic groups in varioud period.
The museum was established in 1987 and is run by the Vietnam Women’s Union.
