Accordingly, the Department of Industry and Trade shall take following actions:Cooperate with Police Department, Hanoi Inspectorate, Department of Taxation, Department of Health, Department of Information and Communication, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Science and Technology, and Department of Foreign Affairs to inspect and check multi-level marketing in Hanoi, and punish violators according to legal regulations, or report the violations to competent authorities for further processing, especially infractions in the fields of food safety and cosmetics management, promotion and advertisement, organization of conferences and seminars, and introduction of products;
Ask the Market Surveillance Department in coordination with relevant authorities to increase market control, supervision and examination of multi-level marketing according to multi-level marketing registration certificate and operation confirmation, thus detecting violations of multi-level marketing enterprises or business people, and severely punish them; increase popularization, guide people and the ones dealing with multi-level marketing how to protect their legitimate rights and benefits according to legal regulations if enterprise terminates multi-level marketing;
Cooperate with Department of Information and Communications to build content for popularization of law on multi-level marketing and its variations; announce result of examination and punishment;
People’s Committees of districts, suburban districts and towns shall increase management, supervision and inspection, detect violations, verify them and punish them according to authority. They also proactively supervise, detect illegal multi-level marketing, handle them or report to competent authority for further handling, and direct relevant units to proactively supervise, grasp the situation and ensure security and order in the area.
