Nearly 200 delegates from 55 domestic and foreign universities are participating in the The CDIO Academy Innovation Competition 2018 in the central city of Da Nang from March 12-14 to boost cooperation in technical training.

The CDIO Academy Innovation Competition 2018 was held as part of the meeting with the participation of 18 international students and 22 Vietnamese students.
In 2017, students from Duy Tan University – the host of this year’s event – won a berth at the CDIO Academy Innovation Competition in Canada.
CDIO is a new initiative for education, a system of methods and ways of collecting knowledge, skills in training students in order to respond requirements of business and society.
Formed in 2000 by the US Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the network of universities applying CDIO in the world has been expanding, especially in the US and Northern Europe.
To date, the global CDIO association has over 100 members as leading technological universities. The CDIO association in Asia has 28 members. In Vietnam, five universities were admitted to membership in the CDIO association, namely the HCM City-based Vietnam National University, Duy Tan University, Thu Dau Mot University, Da Lat University and FPT University
