On October 2017, Vietravel Hanoi Company will be held Hanoi Free Walking Tour, which helps tourists visiting the capital city to explore local life free of charge.

The tour is set to take place on Fridays and on the weekends and will last between two and three hours each. Participants will be treated to an authentic dish of Hanoi at the end of their routes of choice.
Each route will provide a different story, in which Vietravel's tour guides will introduce visitors to stories about the history and culture of the nation and its people in general, and Hanoi in particular, through specific activities, such as shopping at a local market, enjoying street food and visiting tourist attractions.
The inception of Free Walking Tours, the first free travel model in the domestic tourism industry, is expected to act as a bridge connecting Vietnamese culture to domestic and foreign visitors, as well as presenting a good opportunity to promote the image of the country, people's lives and Hanoi through its prominent streets.
Tourists can register to take part in the walks at www.freewalkingtour.com.vn or by the hotline 024.3933.1978. Registration must be made 48 hours before the start time of each route.
Earlier this month, during the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2017, Vietravel introduced its plans to host free walking tours in Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Da Nang, Hanoi, Hoi An and Ha Long, starting in late September this year.
The model will be expanded to other localities across the nation in the near future, to create a network to help visitors to gain more experience when visiting Vietnam.
