According to supply concrete guidance of Hanoi’s People Committee, Hanoi Center of Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion (HPA) and eight enterprises Hanoi was attended in Jata Tourism Expo Japan (from September 21 to 24).

From September 16 to 17, a Vietnam Festival with the theme of “Feel Vietnam” took place in Yokohama city of Kanagawa Prefecture, marking it as one of the largest Vietnamese festivals in Japan.

According to Most Venerable Thich Gia Quang, Vice President of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Council, on August 31, Vu Lan (Ullambana) – a major Buddhist festival, will be held at the Hanoi Opera House.

Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is looking to draft a decree on festival management and organization, in response to public complaints about the commercialization and brutality of some local festivities.

According to Lang Son Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Mau Son Tourism Festival 2017 will be held in Loc Binh District, Lang Son Province on August 26.

From November 24 to 28, the 20th Vietnam Film Festival will take place in the central city of Da Nang.

From Aug 18 to 20, the historic city of Hoi An will reenact a 17th-century wedding parade held for Princess Ngoc Hoa and Japanese businessman Araki Sotaro in the old quarter as part of the 14th annual Hoi An and Japan Culture Festival.
