In addition to some basic functions including updating the date and events, among others, the Truong Sa calendar app also features pictures of the sea, island and continental shelf of Vietnam taken by Vietnamese living in Vietnam and abroad who had visited Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 platform over the past years.
Besides, information on notable anniversaries, data of the national continental shelf area, maritime law-enforcement forces, the main contents of the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, among others, are also available on the app.
Other features such as poems and songs on Vietnamese sea and islands are also found in the app, contributing to affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty on Truong Sa archipelago, inspiring patriotism and national pride.
The app is available on App Store and Google Play for free download.
