US businesses will invest about US$100 million in Thanh Hoa province
The delegation of Kachay Global Development Company (USA) has recently had a meeting with Thanh Hoa province`s leaders after exploring investment opportunities in the province`s food industry, healthcare and tourism.

At the meeting, Mr. Samuel Karp, Chairman of Kachay Global Development, said that in addition to 200 hectares of infrastructure for the Food Industrial Zone, Kachay Global Development would like to invest an additional 800 hectares in the vicinity, tourism projects, hospitals and residential areas.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duc Quyen, Standing Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa People's Committee welcomed Kachay Global Development's goodwill. He has agreed on the scope of the project under the investment proposal. Expanding to the adjacent areas with the total area of about 1,000 hectares for the following periods, of which 200 hectares will be the core areas for processing plants, research and human resource training areas, mainly for production development.
At the core of the project, Thanh Hoa province is committed to hand over clean ground, invest electricity to the premises before assigning the company to invest. At the same time, it is proposed that the investor must pay for land clearance fee. The province will then refund the land rent.
After the discussion, Mr. Samuel Karp, Chairman of Kachay Global Development and Mr. Nguyen Duc Quyen, Standing Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa People's Committee agreed to sign MOU on investment cooperation between the two sides.
