The project was announced at a meeting between Hanoi People's Committee Chairman Tran Sy Thanh and Dr. Amir Ali Salemi, co-founder and CEO of JTA International Holding. Strategically located just 10 kilometers from downtown Hanoi and six kilometers from Noi Bai International Airport, the project is expected to redefine the city's sports and entertainment landscape. The project integrates state-of-the-art sports infrastructure with a large-scale Disneyland-inspired theme park that is expected to attract millions of visitors annually.

The sports facilities will cater to international and domestic competitions, focusing on events that will enhance Hanoi's status in global sports tourism. By incorporating state-of-the-art stadiums and training centers, the complex is expected to host a variety of sports disciplines, from athletics to aquatic sports.

Meanwhile, the Disneyland-style theme park component will provide a multi-faceted entertainment experience with immersive attractions, adventure zones and family-friendly recreational areas. This addition is expected to make the complex a major leisure destination for Hanoi residents and international tourists.

Beyond its role in entertainment and sports, the project is expected to create 6,000-7,000 jobs and contribute significantly to Hanoi's economic growth. With construction and operation spanning multiple industries, it is projected to boost local employment in the tourism, retail, hospitality and infrastructure sectors.

According to JTA Qatar, one of the lead investors, the complex is in line with Hanoi's long-term vision to integrate high-quality tourism with world-class urban development. "We see this as a landmark investment that will not only enhance Hanoi's appeal, but also establish it as a premier destination for global sports and entertainment events," said Dr. Amir Ali Salemi.

The Government of Hanoi has expressed strong support for the project, emphasizing the need for well-structured financial planning to ensure timely completion. Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, emphasized the importance of sustainable development, stating that the city welcomes pioneering projects that enhance its global competitiveness while being in line with strategic urban planning.

"The success of this project depends on sound financial strategies and effective execution. With the expertise and experience of JTA Qatar and T&T Group, I am confident that this collaboration will bring significant value to the city," said Thanh.

To maintain progress, JTA has pledged to secure the necessary funding and accelerate construction, with the goal of being fully operational by 2028. The company emphasized its commitment to delivering an international-standard complex that will have a lasting impact on Hanoi's economic and cultural landscape.

As Vietnam seeks to enhance its global standing in sports and entertainment, the Dong Anh Sports-Entertainment Complex represents a milestone in the country's urban and tourism development strategy. Combining Olympic-level facilities with world-class entertainment, the project is expected to transform Hanoi into a premier regional hub.

This massive project, scheduled for completion in 2028, will change the dynamics of tourism in the city. It will offer a unique experience that combines sports, leisure and cultural enrichment.
