Vegetables from Hanoi to export overseas

This information was announced by Tran Viet Hung - Deputy General Director of VietRap commercial and investment Joint stock Company, which opens up good signals for Hanoi agriculture.

"Previously, we considered that agricultural products in Hanoi lack of advantages compared to other provinces, however, we now can export cabbage, carrots originated from Hanoi to Korea" - Hung said .
Reportedly, cabbage, carrots exported by VietRap deprive from safety vegetable growing area in Dang Xa, Gia Lam district. Dang Xa commune plans to have five concentrated growing areas of vegetables and fruits with a total of 140 hectare, of which, 117 hectares are certificated as safety areas by Hanoi’s authority.

Another delighted news for Hanoi agricultural sector is that more than 10 tons of late ripe longan originated from Quoc Oai and Hoai Duc districts has been exported to Malaysia by the Tien bo AIC joint stock Company in 2016. Quite a large number of other areas of late longan has been continuously invested in quality as well as hygiene in order to access much more difficult markets like USA, Australia…
