The Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) has allowed domain name registrars to test registration for domain name ".vn" via electronic records.

To register a domain name electronically, the customer will create an account with the correct information by answering the question system in the available form. After that, the customer will check the information of the domain name intended to register and make a declaration of registration information for domain name with the information as prescribed.
After completing the registration form, individual customers will directly sign the declaration (or use electronic signature); for corporate clients, the statement will be printed, signed and stamped by the organization, then taking a photo of the statement to send to the domain registrar via the online tool.
Domain name registrants are required to commit, authenticate their signatures and information via One Time Password (OTP), that will send a secure code to customers’ phone number or email as online banking. Customers will pay for domain registrants through online payment gateways integrated to help complete domain registration process in a fastest way.
Registration for domain name ".vn" through electronic records helps shorten the registration time, which is flexible, easy, and convenient for users. Submission and activation of domain name registration will take effect immediately after the completion of the registration form with customers’ authenticity information is guaranteed.
