Vietnam Airlines Classic - Hanoi Concert 2017 to take place in March
According to Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, the Vietnam Airlines Classic - Hanoi Concert 2017 with the performance of conductor Elim Chan will be organised on March 4 at the site of Ly Thai To statue in Hoan Kiem district.
Vietnam Airlines Classic - Hanoi Concert 2017 will take place from 7:45 PM to 9:30 PM on on March 4 at the site of Ly Thai To statue around the Hoan Kiem Lake.
Particularly, about 98 artists of the London Symphony Orchestra and conductor Elim Chan will perform a 105-minute concert.
According to musician Quoc Trung, a representative of the organising board, said that the organisers pledge to ensure the sound quality of Hanoi Concert 2017 being similar to be performed in a international- standard hall.
About 4.5 tons of equipment and 367 types of instruments will be shipped from the UK to Hanoi to prepare for the upcoming concert. He said concerts are regularly held in theaters in Vietnam, rarely taking place in the open space. So, the Hanoi Concert 2017 is expected to be an attractive art programme for local residents in March, Trung noted.
Vietnam Airlines Classic - Hanoi Concert 2017 is scheduled to take place within 105 minutes, with the participation of 98 talented musicians of the London Symphony Orchestra - one of the world's five most prestigious orchestras.
The concert will be performed by conductor Elim Chan who is the first female winner of the Donatella Flick LSO Competition.
Hanoi Concert 2017 will be final performance during the London Symphony Orchestra's tour to Asia.
