Vietnam Airlines to increase over 500 flights for the upcoming holidays
The Vietnam Airlines will deploy 545 additional flights on domestic flights and international from April 25 to May 4.
The flight increase is deployed to meet the increasing demand for travel during the upcoming Liberation Day (April 30) and International Labour Day (May 1) holidays.
Accordingly, the airline is expected to increase some routes including Danang-Hanoi (101 flights), Hanoi-Dong Hoi (48 flights), Hanoi-Phu Quoc (35 flights), Hanoi-Nha Trang (27 flights), Ho Chi Minh City-Phu Quoc (106 flights), Ho Chi Minh City-Danang (67 flights), and Ho Chi Minh City-Nha Trang (64 flights).
Besides, low-fare carrier Jetstar Pacific will begin service between Hanoi and Da Lat, with a flight each way (to/from) on June 1.
During the period, Jetstar Pacific will also open a new Hanoi-Phu Quoc air route until September 6.
Accordingly, the airline is expected to increase some routes including Danang-Hanoi (101 flights), Hanoi-Dong Hoi (48 flights), Hanoi-Phu Quoc (35 flights), Hanoi-Nha Trang (27 flights), Ho Chi Minh City-Phu Quoc (106 flights), Ho Chi Minh City-Danang (67 flights), and Ho Chi Minh City-Nha Trang (64 flights).
