Vietnam asked China to terminate the infringement of sovereignty

Foreign Ministry Spokesman of Vietnam stated that China’s air route to Phu Lam seriously violates Vietnam`s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel archipelago)

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Hai Binh yesterday stressed that China’s launch of a regular air route to the airport on Phu Lam in Paracel archipelago seriously violates Vietnam’s sovereignty over the archipelago.

The spokesperson made the statement in response to China’s inauguration of a civilian air route to the airport in Phu Lam on Hoang Sa archipelago.

Binh stressed that Vietnam has full legal foundations and historical evidence to assert its sovereignty of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagoes.

“Vietnam resolutely protests China’s above-mentioned actions, and demands China stop all acts of violating the Southeast Asian country’s sovereignty over the two archipelagoes,” the Spokesman emphasized.
