Vietnam cooperates with Laos on training humanitarian activities
During the course which will last until September 11, the Lao trainees will discuss with their Vietnamese counterparts issues related to human resources development, communication work, humanitarian diplomacy, and disaster prevention and adaptation, among others.

Red Cross workers from Laos are attending a training course in Hanoi as part of the cooperation agreement signed between t he Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRC) and its Lao counterpart last year.
Opening the course on August 19, President of the VRC Central Committee Nguyen Hai Duong stressed this is the first time the course has been organised to share experience of the two Red Cross organisations in conducting humanitarian activities.
They will also make fact-finding trips to the northern provinces of Vinh Phuc, Thanh Hoa and Quang Ninh.
