Vietnam, Czech boost tourism cooperation

Societies of Travel Agents of Vietnam and Czech signed a cooperative agreement on boosting bilateral tourism and friendship.

According to Vu The Binh, Chairman of the Viet Nam Society of Travel Agents (VISTA), the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic was recognized as the country’s ethnic minority group. This is a good foundation for further developing the two societies’ friendly ties in the future.
He said that the Vietnamese Government has created a lot of favourable conditions to attract more tourists from the Czech Republic and other Eastern European countries.

He hoped that the visa exemption for Czech citizens to Vietnam would shortly be introduced, adding the Czech Republic would create favourable conditions for Vietnamese tourists.
At the signing ceremony, the Czech Republic Ambassador to Vietnam Martin Klepetko said that during his three years working in Vietnam, he visited many places throughout the country and is deeply impressed by Phong Nha-Ke Bang cave system in Quang Binh province.
The Ambassador also emphasized that Czech tourist love traveling and exploring places where few people have set foot before.
