It added that the Vietnam Innovation Network currently has 16 members who are young Vietnamese scientists in South Korea.
The network has made plans to hold five webinars between August and December this year regarding the role of the Vietnamese community in Vietnam-South Korea relations.
The webinars aim to introduce investment funds for startups, procedures for startups to call for investment, experience and challenges of industrial firms in South Korea.
The Vietnamese government has assigned the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the MoST and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to establish the Vietnam Innovation Network.
Earlier, the Vietnam Innovation Network was launched in 2018 by the Prime Minister with the aim of connecting Vietnamese scientists across the world.
The network has enabled Vietnamese experts working in technologically advanced countries to assist their homeland in preparing for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It has been joined by over 100 Vietnamese scientists and tech experts living overseas as well as hundreds of their peers in Vietnam so far.
