Extraordinary Ambassador of the Lao PDR in Vietnam Thong-savanna Phomvihan received the delegation intimately.
On behalf of the City, Vice Chairman Le Hong Son would like to send greetings and congratulations of Mr. Pham Quang Nghi - Member of the Political Bureau, Hanoi Steering Party Committee and the city leaders, to the leader of the Party, the State, the Lao Front, Laos Embassy in Vietnam, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of National Day of Laos. City Vice Chairman Le Hong Son stressed that Vietnam - Laos are two countries with traditional ties, established by President Ho Chi Minh and President Cayxon Phomvihan.

At the meeting, the two sides briefed each other about excited achievements that are gained in socio-economic development; reviewing the cooperation, mutual assistance, cultural exchanges between Hanoi and Vientiane and localities of Laos, is a practical work, that has important contribution to consolidating and developing friendly relations and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
Vice Chairman Le Hong Son congratulated Ambassador Thong-savanna Phomvihan, and trust that his new position will contribute positively to the development of Vietnam and Laos.
Ambassador Thong-savanna Phomvihan expressed gratitute to the good feelings of Hanoi's leadership for the Party, State and people of Laos, to celebrate the 40th National Day of Laos; supporting invaluable help of the Party, State and people of Vietnam and Hanoi in the struggle for independence and national construction in Laos.
Pleased to announce the achievement of Laos, Ambassador Thong-savanna Phomvihan affirmed that the great achievements of Laos have been in 40 years, an indispensable support from the Party and the State, the people of Vietnam, including the government and people of Hanoi. At the same time confirming the tradition of solidarity, mutual assistance which continue to be strengthened and developed. "Today, despite of the complicated world, the solidarity, relations and special traditional friendship between Vietnam and Laos remains stable, loyalty. The two countries always consolidate and develop strongly to work together for mutual development ", Ambassador Thong-savanna Phomvihan affirmed.
Pleased with the great achievements of Vietnam and Hanoi, the Ambassador of Laos Thong-savanna Phomvihan would like to express his joy: "On the road to the development cooperation, Laos always considers the achievements of Vietnam and Hanoi as our own gain". Also, on his new position - Ambassador of Lao PDR in Vietnam, said that he would do his best to promote Laos - Vietnam traditional friendship to be sustainable forever.
