The Vietnam Tourism Community Association (VCTC) under the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) and TikTok, a creative social media platform primarily driven by short-form video content, signed an agreement to launch brand product “CTC Group Tour” on May 28, People’s Army newspaper reported.

Under the agreement, a series program to promote Vietnam's tourism in the 2019 – 2020 period with the theme “#HelloVietnam” will be jointly deployed between Tiktok Vietnam and Tourism Magazine. The program targets drawing 100 million views with 30,000 short videos on Vietnamese landscape and people.
The number of foreign holidaymakers to Vietnam in the first four months of 2019 is estimated at nearly 6 million, a 7.6% increase from the same period last year, according to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
