Hang, however, said she had no detailed information about Kim Myong-gil's replacement.
In terms of the Vietnam – North Korea relations, Hang reaffirmed that during the state visit of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to Vietnam in February, leaders from both sides agreed to continuously enhance and reinforce the sound traditional ties.

The two countries also head for the organization of significant activities to mark 70 years of establishing diplomatic relations (1950-2020).
Kim Myong-gil has served as Pyongyang's ambassador to Vietnam since August 2015.
Earlier, South Korean news agency Yonhap reported that North Korea appeared to be replacing its top envoy in Vietnam over a month after the second summit between leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump in Hanoi.
Following the summit, Kim also made a two-day official visit to Vietnam during which he met President Nguyen Phu Trong and other top officials.
