Vietnamese President visits Singapore, reassuring investors
The 10-year strategic partnership has enabled both sides to reach an in-depth multisectoral relationship.
Vietnam’s President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Feb 25 was welcomed by his Singaporean counterpart Halimah Yacob during his three-day visit.
The two presidents had a meeting at the presidential palace accompanied by high-ranking officials of the two countries.
After the meeting, Phuc is scheduled to meet Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and attend the signing of many agreements.
The visit to Singapore is aimed at concretizing agreements that both nations inked regarding infrastructure, hi-tech, and digital transformation.
