More than 280 contestants from ASEAN countries will participate in the tenth ASEAN Skills Competition which will take place in Vietnam in October, reported a press conference on March 17.
Three technical meetings will be organized before the contest. The first meeting will be held in Hanoi from March 17-22 and focus on putting forth exam questions to raise contestants’ awareness and ensure applicants have the necessary knowledge and skills.
The host nation in particular should meet the competition requirements in terms of facilities, materials, and space for contestants to compete and perform their skills to best advantage.
General Department of Vocational Training Deputy Head Cao Van Sam affirmed that Vietnam will organize a national skill contest to select the most outstanding contestants to compete at the upcoming ASEAN Skills Competition.
