Over three days, the travel industry comes together as almost 5,000 exhibiting destinations, technology and private sector companies to find and network with 51,000 travel professionals, key industry buyers, journalists, digital influencers, students and tourism Ministers.
This vibrant event offers the opportunity to discover the world under one roof, and be inspired by industry leaders discussing trends, issues and innovations in the travel industry.
Post WTM London event research always includes questions regarding the duration of World Travel Market London. Previous research has always shown exhibitors have been split between a three and four-day event, however, 2014 research saw a swing towards WTM being a three-day event. The research also revealed exhibitors comprehensively prefer the event to be on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
According to WTM London, Senior Director, Simon Press, World Travel Market London’s move to a three-day event will further cement its place as the leading global event for the travel industry and the event where the travel industry conducts its business.
Attending the event is a chance for Vietnam to promote its tourism, gain an insight into market development trends and expand cooperation with partners in the UK.
Covering an area of 252sq.m, the Vietnamese booth will focus on introducing visitors to the country’s tourist attractions and key products through art performances, water puppetry, traditional music instrument performances and ao dai (traditional long dress) shows.
More than 10.47 million foreigners have visited the country in the first 10 months of 2017, up 28.1 percent year-on-year with the biggest increase of 32.8 percent reported in Asian visitors.
Vietnam aims for an increase of 30 percent in international tourist arrivals, or 13 million foreigners, this year.
