A Vietnamese travel company has been chosen as the best foreign tour operator in Malaysia.

Vietnam Travel and Marketing Transport JSC (Vietravel) is the only representative from Vietnam to be honored in the 19th edition of the Malaysia Tourism Awards, according to the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board.
Vietravel won the “Best Foreign Tour Operator (Vietnam/ Laos/ Cambodia)” category, with the award presented to them by Minister of Tourism and Culture Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board said in a press release on March 2.
The award is an acknowledgement of Vietravel’s large contributions to the increase in arrivals from Vietnam to Malaysia.
The Malaysia Tourism Awards is the highest form of recognition by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture and Tourism Malaysia for industry players whose outstanding contributions have played a significant role in the success of Malaysia’s tourism industry.
Sixty-five such awards were presented for the 2014-15 term.
