With the initial containment of the virus, some kinds of business have been resumed.
Vietnam has reported no new locally-transmitted coronavirus cases for seven consecutive days while five imported infections were announced on Wednesday, taking the total caseload to 1,059.
So far, 890 Covid-19 patients have been declared free from the virus, accounting for 84.04% of the total infections.
Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus deaths remains at 35.

Ho Chi Minh City, the southern metropolis, has gone 38 days without local infections while Hanoi has experienced 22 days of virus-free status.
Meanwhile, travel restrictions on Danang, the hotspot of coronavirus when the virus resurfaced in late July, have been removed.
With initial results in curbing the spread of the virus, Vietnam has resumed some kinds of business. Bars and karaoke lounges and walking streets in Ho Chi Minh City have been reopened.
To raise people's awareness, the Ministry of Health has officially announced a 5K (in Vietnamese) message to help citizens get used to living safely with the pandemic in the new normal.
5K means "Khau trang" (face mask) - "Khu khuan" (disinfection) - "Khoang cach" (distance) - "Khong tu tap" (no gathering) - "Khai bao y te" (health declaration).
In another move, the ministry has circulated a “handbook on prevention and control of Covid-19 in public in the new normal” at school.
Vietnam, which went 99 days without local transmission before the resurgence of SARS-CoV-2 in the community on July 25, is believed to soon contain the virus for economic recovery.
According to the World Bank, while Vietnam’s economy has been seriously impacted by Covid-19, it remains resilient and is poised to bounce back. Economic growth for this year is estimated at 2.8% for the entire year, and 6.8% for 2021.
