Two collections of Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) by designer Si Hoang will be showcased in the “Mot Thoang Viet Nam” programme in New York this month.
US President Barack Obama will be the honoured guest at the event, which is part of activities to mark the 20th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Designs in the “Quoc Hoa” and “Vuong Trieu” collections will feature the beauty of Vietnam’s landscape and people.
Art performances by famous Vietnamese artists will also be arranged in the framework of the event.
