A fashion show of Vietnamese brocade will take place at United Nation`s Headquarter in Geneva.
Designer Minh Hanh earns the honor to be Vietnamese representative to introduce the country’s style via the brocade collection at the United Nation's Headquarter on Sep 14.
On occasion of 40th years of Vietnam attending UN, Vietnamese Ambassador to UN Duong Chi Dung will hold a formal meeting at UN' Headquarter in Geneva (Switzerland). This is the second largest among four headquarters of UN all over the world.
Palais des Nations (Palace of Nations) was built in 1929 and 1938 in Geneve, Switzerland and extended in early 1950s, late 1960s. Every year, the Palace is the host to more than 10.000 international conferences. To mark this significant event, Designer Minh Hanh represents Vietnamese designers to introduce the Vietnamese style through her brocade collection – one of her mainstream design line.
With concept of Vietnam’s nature beauty, Designer Minh Hanh put a fresh view and promote a modern image of nowadays Vietnam.
The crude material mixed with spontaneous feeling, meticulous skill of Vietnam craftsman and positive view towards modern life, create lively picture in the latest collection of Designer Minh Hanh. The showcase takes place on Sep 14 at UN headquarter. According to Tran Trong Linh (an Vietnamese painter living and teaching at Switzerland is famous for unique arrangement idea) , the showcase space would be full of bamboo. Besides, artirst Phó An Mi will perform newest composers inspired from Mong ethnic group’s traditional folk songs. The show would also witness the attendance of 25 models from France, Switzerland and Vietnam (including Miss Vietnam Ngoc Han, Runner-up to Miss Vietnam Thanh Tu, …)
