Two Vietnamese films “Nhung nguoi viet huyen thoai” (The legend makers) and “Banh mo” (Dreaming cake) will be shown in the Republic of Korea (RoK) - ASEAN film week which took place in Jakarta (Indonesia) from November 7-9.
During the event, movies from RoK, Thailand, Brunei, Malaysia, and the host Indonesia will also be screened.
The “The legend makers” tells a story about Vietnamese soldiers, who sacrificed their lives to install petrol pipes across the Truong Son trail during the American resistance war.
The “Dreaming cake” is the story of two girls desire becoming boys because they hate complicated rules that they must follow.
