Vietnam's tourism participates in the world’s largest travel fair in Germany
The Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Ha Van Sieu is joining International Tourism Exchange Berlin (ITB) 2017, the most important event of the world’s tourism industry, in Germany, which runs from March 8 – 12.

The ITB Berlin 2017 is expected to draw about 120,000 visitors. The fair was designed in the total area of 160,000 m2. The value of exchange and direct trade at the fair is expected to reach about 7 billion euros.
The fair serves as a venue for international enterprises to share experience and look for partners as well as provides visitors with varied tourism information.
As many as 32 Vietnamese tourism businesses are participating in the ITB 2017.
The Vietnamese delegation is led by Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.
Covering an area of 200 sq.m, Vietnamese booth features the beauty of Vietnamese nature, culture and people.
The Vietnam’s tourism sector focused on introducing the 2017 National Tourism Year in Lao Cai - Northwest themed "Colours of the Northwest", other destinations such as Hanoi capital, Phu Quoc and localities of Ninh Binh, Ha Long and Quang Binh that have been chosen as a Hollywood film location of “Kong: Skull Island”.
Various tourists visit the fair.

Meetings between Vietnamese and international tourism companies will also take place during the event.
In 2016, the event drew 180,000 visitors, with contracts valued at more than 7 billion EUR.
