Violin and viola performance in Hanoi

Vietnamese violinist Nguyen My Huong and Danish violist Nicolaj Moller Nielsen will perform together at a concert at the V-Art Club on July 9.

The audience will get a chance to enjoy renowned works from around the world, including Invention for Violin and Viola by J.S. Bach, Inspiration Invention-A tribute to Bach, Passacaglia for Violin and Viola by Handel-Halvorsen, Doe in G for Violin and Viola by W.A. Mozart and Improvisation, Viola looping by Nicolaj Moeller Nielsen.

Vietnamese violinist Nguyen My Huong will perform in a duel concert with Danish violist Nicolaj Moller Nielsen at the V-Art Club on July 9.
Nguyen My Huong studied violin from the age of three at the Hanoi Conservatory of Music and later at the University of Music and Drama Arts in Graz, Austria. She was a member of the Asian Youth Orchestra and the PMF Orchestra and participated in many training courses and exchange programmes of symphony orchestras in Japan, China, Germany, Austria, United States, etc. Currently, she is a lecturer at the National Music Academy of Vietnam.
Nicolaj Moller Nielsen is a Hanoi-based Danish violist. After graduating from the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music, he worked for over 10 years in professional orchestras in Denmark and northern Sweden and with the Copenhagen Philharmonic. Currently, Nielsen is living in Hanoi where he spends most of his time understanding the combination of traditional instruments and electronic sounds.
