The construction of the iconic Hanoi Flag Tower replica at the southern point of Vietnam has completed in late October.
The workers are making effort to finish the construction of the T1 route soon, which connects Hanoi flag tower to canoe dock so as the whole complex could be inaugurated next December.
The construction of the replica of Hanoi Flag Tower kicked off in January 2016.
“We expect the Hanoi Flag Tower in Ca Mau Cape to be a millennium construction with artistic value and attractive architecture imbued with historical and cultural significance. It asserted Vietnam’s sovereignty over islands, seas, and territories,” stressed Director of Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Ca Mau Tran Hieu Hung.
The construction consists of three levels and a tower.
he first level is 4 meters high, while the second and third level are 4.4 and 6 meters high. The height of the tower is 24.5 meters.
It is located in the tourist area of Cabo Ca Mau, near other important local monuments.
The architecture of the tower resembles that of Hanoi with a solid and modern structure, which could withstand adverse weather conditions.
Ca Mau welcomed one million tourists in 2019, among those 30,000 were foreigners. The province is striving to receive at least two million visitors per year from 2020 on.
