VN, Angola enhance science-technology linkages

State President Truong Tan Sang on Wednesday in Ha Noi received Angolan Minister of Science and Technology who is in Viet Nam for the sixth meeting of the Viet Nam-Angola Joint Committee.

State President Sang said that he was glad to hear positive changes in Angola's socio-economic development.

The host leader welcomed the agreements reached by the two sides at the sixth meeting of the Joint Committee.

Mr. Sang suggested the two sides review cooperative mechanisms from politics to economics and culture; regular exchange views on international and regional issues of common concern; develop training cooperation; discuss the dispatch of Vietnamese experts and guest workers to Angola.

According to Minister Maria Candida Teixeira, the bilateral cooperation has yet met respective potentials.

The guest proposed respective ministries to fruitfully cooperate for mutual benefits.

She thanked Viet Nam for sending medical workers and educational experts to Angola.
