VND 1.5 trillion approved for science and technology to build rural areas
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a science and technology programme for the building of new rural areas for the 2011-2015 period with an expected expense of VND 1.5 trillion.
The Hanoitimes - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a science and technology programme for the building of new rural areas for the 2011-2015 period with an expected expense of VND 1.5 trillion.
The target of the programme is researching, proposing and completing mechanisms, policies and science and technology solutions for the construction of new rural area as part of the national orientation programme on building new rural areas in the 2010-2020 period.
In addition, the progamme aims at building some models of new rural areas on the basis of applying the results of science and technology research to expand nationwide during the process of building rural areas.
Specifically, 70 percent of subjects and projects under the programme are expected to be made public in domestic and foreign magazines in science and technology and 10 percent will be registered with intellectual property protection
