Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai has approved the extension of the deadline for the Northern Delta Transport Development Project, which is financed by the World Bank, till December 31, 2015.
The project aims to promote the sustainable growth rate by increasing the effectiveness of the transport infrastructure in the Northern Delta.
According to the previous plan, the project, launched from February 2009 to June 30, 2014, is upgrading main waterway corridors, river ports and ferries across the Northern Delta.
