Well-known dancers to perform at "Paris Ballet" show in Hanoi

The French Embassy in Vietnam and the Vietnam Prosperity Bank (VPBank) co-chaired a press conference in Hanoi on June 9 to announce the one-night performance of the Paris Ballet which will take place in Hanoi on June 11.

Quintessential French ballet will be presented to local audiences when some of the best ballet dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet perform in the upcoming show at the Hanoi's My Dinh National Convention Hall at 8pm on June 11.

At the press conference, Ambassador Jean Noel Poirier introduced reknowned dancers from Paris, Madrid, and San Francisco. 
Well-known dancers from around the world are expected to wow audiences at the Paris Ballet performance, especially actor Mathide Froustey, the "French girl" who has the Vietnamese bloodline.
Among the famous stars are Agnès Letestu, Mathilde Froustey, Florian Magnenet and Audric Bezard from the Paris Opera House. 
According to the artistic director of the Paris Ballet, Frédéric Fontan, the performance will take audiences on a journey to discover French ballet, that is considered the origin of all ballet. 
The performing artists have praticed the play in the past 3 months to prepare the one-night performance in the capital city.
A international standard stage with the system of lighting and sound was transported from France to Vietnam. The 5-layer curtain in each stage was also prepared to bring sophisticated and overwhelmed  feelings for audiences.
During the press conference, artist Mathilde Froustey shared that her grandmother is Hanoian and was adopted in France.  When arriving in Vietnam, its interesting and safety made her staying longer than expected, she said.
"I always have a close attachment to Vietnam and love it. I'm ready to receive the Vietnam's invitation to train, share experience with the country's young ballet  artists"- Mathilde Froustey shared.
Mathilde Froustey, a world ballet star, who began her dancing career in France at the age of 9 years old, has reached many prestigious awards.
The upcoming performance of Paris Ballet will present extracts from nine famous ballets, including “Giselle”, “In the Night,” “The Nutcracker” and “Carmen”. 
Other ballet extracts will be accompanied by the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji.
French pianist Henri Barda, dubbed “The best kept secret of the French piano,” is expected to be present on the stage.
In the performance, artist Mathilde Froustey will appear as a "star dancer". She will join in the presentation of famous and important extracts.

During the Paris Ballet, this renowned interpreter of Chopin and Brahms will beguile the audience with his amazing skill as he accompanies an extract from the ballet In the Night.
