Chairman of Yangon Region Parliament U Tin Maung Htun expressed his desire to learn Hanoi’s experience on maintaining and conserving the capital city’s architecture works.
Yangon always wants to learn Hanoi's development experience, Chairman of Yangon Region Parliament U Tin Maung Htun said at a recent meeting with Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan in Hanoi.
At the reception, U Tin Maung Htun expressed his impressions on Hanoi’s socio-economic development achievements and his pleasure at the good relationship between Vietnam and Myanmar.
The chairman of Yangon Region Parliament said Myanmar is now welcoming many Vietnamese investors.

For his part, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan said Hanoi has made many strides in socio-economic development over the past time, ensuring the city’s security and peace.
Tuan affirmed Myanmar and Vietnam have a good friendship. The two countries share many similarities and in the framework of ASEAN, Hanoi always attaches great importance to the relationship with Myanmar’s localities.
The vice chairman stressed that Hanoi’s authority is always willing to create favorable conditions to exchange development experiences in the fields of mutual interest.
