The festival runs from July 21 to 25 in Hanoi.
The second Hanoi Agricultural Products Festival in 2023 is underway in Ung Hoa District, attracting many businesses, cooperatives, and production households from other provinces and cities.
Exhibitors from Ung Hoa District and 15 provinces and cities, including Lao Cai, Cao Bang, Nam Dinh, Hai Duong, Haiphong, Hung Yen, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, and Ninh Binh, are displaying their products in 120 booths.

Participating in the event, Ung Hoa District had 38 booths showcasing 36 products rated by the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program and cultural spaces to promote trade, production, and tourism programs in the district and the city.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Tien Thiet, Chairman of Ung Hoa District People's Committee, said: "The festival has created opportunities for production households and traditional villages to network and promote their brand and products. The strength of the district lies in agricultural development, and to further develop agriculture, we need to implement many solutions, including fostering the OCOP program."
He added that Ung Hoa has 44 OCOP products rated three and four stars. All products have labels, packaging, and quality certification in accordance with regulations. This is part of the district's strong development compared to the period before Hanoi's expansion of administrative boundary 15 years ago.
"Recently, businesses, cooperatives, and high-quality agricultural production facilities in the district have formed a close network to promote their products," he said.
At the opening ceremony on July 21, Nguyen Anh Duong, director of the Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA), said: "The event will provide participating units with an excellent opportunity to promote their brands, add value to their products, contribute to the preservation of traditional crafts and natural items, as well as diversify OCOP products related to local tourism".
He said it would contribute to the socio-economic development of Hanoi and other provinces and cities by strengthening trade relations and product consumption and increasing the value of agricultural production.
Dang Van Duoc, representing the Nguyen Xa Tea and Lotus Tea producing plant in Phuong Tu Commune, Ung Hoa District, stated, "To increase our share of the retail market in Vietnam, we are committed to enhancing product quality and developing appropriate strategies."
Visitors attending the event are cordially invited to indulge in delightful cuisine, engage folk games, and actively participate in various community activities.
