Hanoi makes a plan on Lifelong Learning Week 2017

The Office of the Hanoi People’s Committee has just released the Official Letter No. 9029/VP-KGVX on asking relevant departments, sectors and People’s Committees of districts, suburban districts, town to organize Life Learning Week 2017.

Under the Official Letter, implementing the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training on launching Lifelong Learning Week 2017, localities will select the week’s theme which is suitable for the situation of economy, culture and society. The Lifelong Learning Week 2017 will take place from October 2-8, 2017, in which, the opening ceremony will be organized on October 2.
 

 
Provinces and centrally-run cities should focus on several specific activities, including: setting up the programs on study promotion; building studying society on newspapers, television and radio system which broadcast messages and themes of the event; enhancing communication on activities on the framework of the week via diversified forms, such as: motto, panel, etc.
 
The opening ceremony will see the attendance of representatives of leaders of Party Committees, authorities, agencies and relevant social organizations, representatives of education establishments, libraries, museums, cultural houses, mass media agencies, people, students in localities.
 
Regarding the above matter, the Municipal People’s Committee assigned the Department of Education and Training to take prime responsibility and coordinate with the Department of Information and Communications, the Municipal Study Promotion Association, People’s Committees of districts, suburban districts, towns and relevant units to make plan on carrying out the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training; give a report to the Municipal People’s Committee before implementing the plan; give a report on results of the Lifelong Leaning Week 2017 to the Ministry of Education and Training, the Hanoi People’s Committee before October 15, 2017.
