THE HANOI TIMES— The 2025 Thematic Exhibition is showcasing more than 350 outstanding handicraft and One Commune One Product (OCOP) products in lacquerware, pearl inlay and wood carving at the OCOP Promotion Center, 176 Quang Trung Road, Ha Dong Ward.

Within 500 square meters, the exhibition gives visitors a brief view of traditional and modern craft production, the history of lacquer, mother-of-pearl and wood carving and trade promotion activities.
The event showcases innovative designs from artisans, experts and young designers, Nguyen Anh Duong, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, said at the opening ceremony of the event.
By applying innovative designs in production, local enterprises will create new products that meet market demand, he said.
The exhibition also promotes stronger links among designers, artisans, producers, distributors and consumers and introduces signature products from Hanoi’s traditional craft villages to the public.
It is also an opportunity for Hanoi to display local cultural heritages, feature artisans' crafting ability and trade connections.
The event also comprises side activities such as forums, demonstrations and product experiences to foster cooperation and innovation.
Hanoi is hosting a week-long fair to showcase fruits, seasonal farm produce, regional specialties, and OCOP products, aiming to boost domestic consumption and support provincial enterprises.
