In this event, he will talk about his experience in more than 1 month participating in a residency program at the Worcester Art Museum in the US, where he breathed life into the models of “carrier” and “transporter” travelling all across the “Seven-Hill Land”.
Along with that is the artist’s sharing on the side activities besides the residency, which are a continued effort in connecting communities through contemporary art. These include art activities in the  museum, outdoor activities not only for the artist community but also for the locals.
And “Journey to the Seven-Hill Land” is a continuous story, demonstrating the desire of the artists to connect our community, a never-ending journey, a journey of art for humankind.
In addition, Nguyen The Son will also share his view about the exhibition “Mountain Connecting Mountain, River Connecting River” taking place simultaneously at Lumenvisum art center in Hong Kong from 06 Apr 2019 to 19 May 2019.

Photography Exhibition “A Little Bit of This and That”.
“A Little Bit of This and That”, a solo photography exhibition by Dinh Nguyen. This event marks the opening of Matca space for photography after two years of work.
“My practice of photography comes from an assigned task of documenting places as part of my job as an architect: be it a public setting, a personal space, the pace of daily life or fleeting moments.
In the midst of such bizarre atmosphere, feelings as captivating as they are elusive emerge. Photography, like a date with myself, has given form to those feelings, opened a new way of seeing and cementing personal experiences. A Little Bit of This and That is about such slices of life.” – Dinh Nguyen
The exhibition is sponsored by The Cultural Development and Exchange Fund (CDEF) and Canon Vietnam.
Time: Sunday April 14 at 2:30 pm
Venue: Matca Space for Photography, 48 Ngoc Ha, Ba Dinh, Hanoi
