An exhibition on Vietnam’s 70-year socio-economic progress to take place in Hanoi

About 1,500 special documents of the August Revolution (August 19), National Day (September 2) and President Ho Chi Minh will be on display at the exhibition on Vietnam’s 70-year socio-economic achievements at the Vietnam National Library in Hanoi from August 26 to September 6.

The exhibition will be organised at the Vietnam National Library, No.31 Trang Thi street, Hanoi.
According to Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the opening ceremony of the exhibition on Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements will  take place on the evening of August 28.

 
The exhibition gives a formal part to introduce the President Ho Chi Minh with the cause of national liberation.

The event is to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).
Before and after the exhibition will feature music performances by artists from the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra and the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
The exhibit will sprawl over 15,000 square metres indoors and outdoors, with the participation of exhibitors from 28 ministries and ministry-level agencies and 30 cities, provinces and businesses across the country. 
As many as 80 stalls will be divided into four sections, each displaying photos, artefacts and films on the topic. 
The Vietnam News Agency, “Nhan dan” (People) newspaper, and Vietnam Television will also have their own stalls. 
On this occasion, the event will also include seminars and conferences that make chances for exhibitors to introduce new policies, investment opportunities and technologies and promote trade.
