A ceremony to award the winners of the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship (MOSWC) 2015 in Vietnam was held in Hanoi on June 16.
The MOSWC 2015, organised by the Ministry of Education and Training, the IIG Vietnam Company, the military-run telecom group Viettel, and the Tuoi Tre Newspaper, attracted over 1,500 candidates across the country.
Three students participating in the contest awarded with gold medals were Tran Tien Minh from the HCM City Banking University with the honour at the Microsoft Word category, Pham Truong Giang and Nguyen Thi Hien Gia, both from the Hanoi Foreign Trade University, at the Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint categories, respectively.
The three champions will represent Vietnam to compete in the world final round in Dallas, Texas, the United States on August 9-12 this year.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan appreciated the great contribution of the organizers, and encouraged the three champions who will compete in the world final round in the United States.
