On the same day, two more Covid-19 patients fully recovered and were released from hospital, lifting the number of convalescents to 128, accounting for 50% of the total infected people.

A famous domestic health expert attributed the high rate of convalescents in Vietnam to proper treatment by leading professionals.

The most well-known professionals and experts in Vietnam join national online consultations daily with doctors who directly treat Covid-19 patients in clinics nationwide, according to VTC News.

Thanks to technology by Viettel Group, the country’s giant military telecom, patients will be consulted and given proper treatment by leading experts and physicians. The method plays a crucial role in treatment for Covid-19 patients in Vietnam.

An example of successful treatment is 61-year-old Chinese man Li Ding who was the first case of Covid-19 in Vietnam found on January 23. Li traveled to Vietnam from Chinese city of Wuhan where the pandemic broke out.

With already existing diseases, the man fell into critical condition several times and was close to death. However, he recovered and was discharged after 21 days of treatment.

In the last few days, seven Covid-19 patients have been in critical conditions. All are elderly and suffering from many chronic diseases. Some of them are applied non-invasive mechanical ventilation and some are given oxygen.

After days of treatment, most of these patients are now getting better, VTC News reported after an online meeting on April 8.
