Art auction raises US$18,000 at Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts

Seventeen artworks were sold for a total US$18,000 at an auction held at the Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts.

They are among more than 61 artworks donated by artists to raise funds for rebuilding Nha Lang (The mansion of hereditary mandarin of ethnic Muong) in the northern province of Hoa Binh.
The ancient house is owned by Vu Duc Hieu, director of the private Muong Cultural Museum. It was ruined by a careless group of tourists by the end of 2013.

The crowd-funding activities can be tracked at http://betado.com/campaigns/nha-lang/ and on the official web page of Muong's Cultural Museum http://muong.vn
Cash can sent to Muong's Cultural Museum, located at 202 Tay Tien Street, Thai Binh Ward, Hoa Binh City, Hoa Binh Province.
