Art program reviews history and tradition of Ha Dong District

The program is inspired by Ha Dong District, a land rich in history and deeply infused with the cultural identity of the Northern Delta.

The "golden voice" of the stage, People's Artist Le Chuc, along with renowned singers like Trong Tan, Thu Thuy, Tan Hung, and Meritorious Artist Ngoc Bich, performed at the art program Ha Dong, the Sacred Land Rising Up to Flourish on December 5.

This event was held to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Ha Dong District's establishment (December 6, 1904–2024). The program featured three chapters that highlighted the history of Ha Dong District, its cultural traditions, and its vibrant craft villages.
According to author and director Le The Song, the program is inspired by Ha Dong, a land rich in history, home to talented people, and deeply infused with the cultural identity of the Northern Delta.

“Having gone through many long journeys of building and defending the country, through the time of bombs and bullets, through difficult times, the people of Ha Dong District have joined hands to build a new and beautiful life, contributing to the development of the capital,” Song said.

The program combined contemporary dance and songs praising the land and people of Ha Dong, as well as the capital of Hanoi.

The director takes advantage of the epic language and the poetic commentary to highlight the land and people of Ha Dong. With a warm, emotional voice, People's Artist Le Chuc narrated the story through a performance, contributing to the special appeal of the program.

According to People's Artist Le Chuc, artists always want to contribute more creativity and responsibility to the public and society. The program dedicated to Ha Dong District used the comprehensive language of cultural arts such as theater, music, dance, and visual arts to tell the audience stories of the land.
