ASEAN Solidarity Week kicks off

On November 21, the event themed "ASEAN solidarity - one vision, one identity, one community" was held at Hanoi’s Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism. (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi).

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh, the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to represent ASEAN member countries in Vietnam, and leaders of departments, and Vietnamese people.
 
 
During the ceremony, various art performances were also took place to represent unique cultures of countries including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam, etc.
The event aims to honor the spirit of ASEAN Solidarity.
Previously, "Space of ASEAN cultural heritage" was also opened with over 580 original artifacts, photographs, more than 300 kinds of books, thousands of handicraft products of 20 Hanoi’s traditional villages and hundreds of weaving, embroidery, knitting, and art wooden artisans.
On the same day, "Cultural Week - Vietnam island tourism" was also at at Ha Noi's Culture and Arts Exhibition Centre (No 2 Hoa Lu Street).
