Author Tina Yuan launches dual works in Vietnam and Greece

Kinhtedothi - These two works signal a transformative shift in Tina Yuan’s writing from personal introspection to a broader cultural and emotional perspective, crossing borders and connecting hearts.

Book Launch & Signing Event

Fans and readers will have the opportunity to meet Tina Yuan in person and have their books signed during the official launch event on June 28 at The Wiselands Coffee, 24 Quang Trung, Hoàn Kiếm, Hanoi.

Tina Yuan is a Vietnamese author based in Singapore. A fluent polyglot and passionate traveler, she has explored over 100 countries and holds a Master’s degree in Global Business from Coventry University (UK).

Journeys Through the Homeland” is a heartfelt tribute to the country where she was born and raised and continues to draw inspiration for her life and writing. Through evocative, honest prose, the book paints a vivid portrait of Vietnam, from the peaceful river deltas and misty mountain ranges to the dynamic rhythm of urban life.

More than a geographical travelogue, it is also a return to memory: of a grandfather whose stories nurtured her national pride, of friends who brought sweetness and warmth to everyday moments, of a childhood full of emotional fragments, and modern life observed in all its quiet beauty.

Without flourish or fanfare, “Journeys Through the Homeland” is a tender yet enduring expression of love for Vietnam, told through Tina Yuan’s attentive eye, emotional depth, and simple yet profoundly moving style.

Alongside it, “Under the Greek Blue Sky” offers a poetic travel memoir of a different kind. In this work, the land of ancient myths reveals itself through its timeless ruins, brilliant sunlight, and the iconic blue of the Aegean Sea, as well as through the author’s introspective reflections and delicate emotional responses.

In Greece, Tina Yuan doesn’t merely visit a foreign country; she steps into an entirely different world. History, art, cuisine, and humanity blend into a living symphony. Her experiences, from humble meals steeped in local flavor to brief but meaningful encounters to tender, incomplete love stories, are captured with a quiet yet resonant feminine voice.

Under the Greek Blue Sky” is more than a travel diary; it’s an inward journey. Each outward step mirrors a more profound self-discovery. The book gently reminds us that what once seemed unfamiliar can become a mirror reflecting the most genuine parts of ourselves.

“Publishing two books at once was a challenge,” Tina shares, “but I wanted to show that no matter where we are, the creative spark always begins with love for people, beauty, and truth.”

These works mark a notable evolution in Tina Yuan’s writing from intimate self-narratives to a broader, more nuanced view of culture, humanity, and the universal threads of emotion that transcend borders.
